Chris originally came from a background in education and teaching before finding his way into employment, originally as a job seeker. Starting as an administration assistant on the front desk of an employment agency “to learn the ropes”, he soon moved through the ranks holding the roles of Employment Consultant, Site Trainer, State Trainer, National Trainer and National Service & Development Manager (with Australia’s largest Job Network Service at the time) before founding his own company ‘Edify’ that specialized in organizational training, development and e-tools.
Apart from his careers, recruitment and employment experience Chris has also consulted to organizations and held positions in education, human development, team building, leadership development, innovation and suicide bereavement.
He has been interviewed in Australia regarding a number of topics by local and national radio, television programmes and documentaries.
Chris has recently moved to the U.S. and has enthusiastically joined the WorkNet team and is involved in the development of eLearning, training interaction, and the web presence (including the professional hub) of WorkNet International.
He writes for the ‘Looking Around’ category where he picks notable news and content from around the web and other public media sources that might be of interest.
