Reducing crime in Jacksonville

Would you help us reduce crime in Jacksonville?  We need to raise funds to equip additional trainers to teach WorkNet, our career development training.
Sheriff John Rutherford, at our WorkNet fundraiser last week, strongly endorsed the use of WorkNet for prisoners and other hard-to-place job candidates.  He celebrated its ability to rehabilitate prisoners so they won’t be re-arrested after release.  He is implementing WorkNet in the Duval County Jail (as has already been done in the St. Johns and Clay County Jails).
Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin, The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship, also highly endorsed WorkNet at the fundraiser because of its impact for Christ and its track record of placing graduates in positions in their career field within three months and having two-thirds of them being promoted within one year.
From April 29 – May 1, we are having a WorkNet Trainers’ Training to equip more trainers to adopt additional jails, prisons, plus HUD housing project units, rescue missions and even possibly schools.  We expect over 40 in attendance.
At the fundraiser, we generated all but $14,000 of the expenses to provide this training and expand the WorkNet ministry.  We’re asking you (along with hundreds of others) to give a gift through our online giving within the next 24 hours.  Would you join us in making this happen?  Together, God can use us to bring hope . . . and help reduce crime in Jacksonville!  Thanks so much.
