Training Institute (TI)

Our Training Institutes are the most popular method of learning how to successfully apply the full WorkNet Career Development Model to candidates. One of our greatest successes comes from running Training Institutes are run with both staff and candidates in attendance. This allows staff to learn and apply the techniques giving them first hand experience under the guidance of one of our expert trainers.

TI Platinum – Career Development Journals

The original TI is run over three weeks and is for key staff to learn how to train other staff in the WorkNet Career Development Model. It is a “train the trainer” process where you will have one of the WorkNet Management Team come and work with your key staff to teach them how to successfully apply the full programme.

Participants will learn how to apply all the techniques from No One is Unemployable. These staff members will then work with real candidates from within their own organisation. So they see the programme applied to a selection of their own community. Participants will work through the full series of Career Development Journals with their candidates.

TI Gold – Career Development Journals

In the Gold TI key staff receive a comprehensive understanding of the full WorkNet Career Development Journal set, and work with candidates for selected labs and activities. All the journals are trained in detail; however this is done with staff alone. All applications are used without the variation of applying the journals to live candidates.

TI Silver – Career Development Journals

This is an introduction to the WorkNet model. All journals are given a good overview with key concepts and activities tested by staff. This is great as an induction to new staff or for old staff to discover new training methods within the welfare to work spectrum.

Options

Training Institutes can be as small as two days focusing on one key component such as Life/Work Planning or even a single journal and related concepts. Please take us up on our offer of free advice when addressing your staff or candidates needs.


Express Group Series

The WorkNet Express Groups are 90 minute sessions which cover 18 key applications in the WorkNet Career Development Model. They can be broken down into three sections Life/Work Planning, Business Culture and Job Search. For more information visit Products on this website.

TI Gold – Express Group Series

This Trainers Institute covers all of the Express Groups. Trainers spend a full day on the concepts and applications within each area of the Career Development Model before working with their candidates through a selection of 10 Express Group training sessions. All training includes the required lab work with candidates, and WorkNet tools and techniques for each Express Group.

TI Silver

This TI gives your staff a full overview of the Express Groups without candidate involvement. It includes an overview of the lab work involved so staff are aware of the requirements to make these sessions successful in the workplace.
